Pricing & billing

How does per-case pricing work?+

Flat fee per case type, agreed up front. You know the cost before we touch a document — no surprise invoices, no hourly creep, no monthly retainer, no minimum volume. Use us on 1 case or 100. Full pricing on the pricing page.

Are there any monthly fees?+

None. No platform fee, no retainer, no minimum. Pay only when there's a case to draft. The Stitchboat Intelligence Platform is free with every case.

Are USCIS / DOS filing fees included?+

No. Government filing fees (USCIS, DOS, premium processing) are separate and paid by you or your client to the government directly. Our fee covers our drafting and platform work only.

Do you offer volume discounts?+

Yes. 10% off for 11–25 cases/month, 15% off for 26–50, custom enterprise pricing for 51+. Discounts apply automatically across all services.

What's the Money-Back Guarantee Partnership?+

If you offer your client a 100% money-back guarantee, we waive our standard fee and take 30% of your collected attorney fee. Risk-aligned with the case outcome. Must be agreed before the case starts.

Compliance & ethics

Are you bar-compliant?+

Yes — built around it. ABA Rule 5.3 supervision (every petition reviewed by a US-licensed immigration attorney before delivery). Rule 1.6 confidentiality (encrypted handling, NDA day one). Rule 5.5 UPL safety (we draft, organize, operate; we never sign filings, give legal advice, or appear in court).

Do you sign an NDA?+

Mutual NDA before any document is exchanged. Standard template available, or use yours.

How do you handle conflict checks?+

Conflict screen runs before every engagement. Teams are walled per-firm. Per-matter access scoping. Standard ethical walls, documented and auditable.

What about confidentiality?+

NDA-backed engagements. Encrypted document handling end-to-end. Per-matter access scoping (drafters only see the case they're assigned). SOC 2-aligned data practices.

Will my clients know you're involved?+

Only if you want them to. Stitchboat Platform can be fully white-labeled — your firm's logo, email, branding. Or co-branded. Your call, per matter.

Turnaround & quality

What's your standard turnaround?+

Standard: 3–5 business days. Priority: 24–48 hours (+25% fee). Rush: same-day, subject to availability (+50% fee). EB-1, EB-2 NIW, and appellate briefs run 5–10 days due to evidence richness.

What happens if USCIS issues an RFE on something you drafted?+

Round 1 RFE response is on us — no extra charge — turned around in 3 business days. We track every filing we touch and own the outcome through approval.

Are your drafters US-trained?+

Lead drafters average 5+ years in US immigration practice. Every petition is reviewed and signed off by a US-licensed immigration attorney before it goes back to you.

How many revisions are included?+

Two revision rounds included. Additional revisions billed at hourly rate. Most cases never need a third round.

Scope & setup

Do you replace my paralegal?+

No — we work alongside or instead of, depending on your setup. Many firms keep one in-house paralegal for client-facing work and use us for the volume. The math beats a $60–80K hire.

Do I need to keep my Clio or MyCase subscription?+

No. Stitchboat Intelligence Platform includes case dashboard, drafting studio, client portal, document vault, e-signature, deadline tracker, and audit trail. Most firms drop their $200–500/month case-management bills the week they onboard.

How fast can we start?+

Most firms are live in under a week: Day 1 discovery call → Day 2 NDA + platform → Day 3 account manager assigned → Day 5–7 first case delivered. See How It Works.

What case types can I send you?+

40+ specific case types across 7 categories: non-immigrant visas (O-1, H-1B, L-1, E-2, TN, E-3, H-1B1, J-1, STEM OPT, TPS, DACA, dependents), employment green cards (EB-1A/B/C, EB-2 NIW, PERM, I-140, I-485), family-based (I-130, K-1, K-3, consular), citizenship (N-400, N-600), waivers & appeals (I-601, I-212, I-290B, AAO, BIA), RFE/NOID responses, and compliance & advisory (I-9, LCA, site visits, strategy). See For Attorneys.

How do I send you a case?+

Three options: email to your dedicated intake address, "New Case" button in Stitchboat platform, or post in your dedicated Slack channel. Whichever fits your firm — we don't force a workflow change.
